The Carroll Center for the Blind

10:00AM - 1:00PM

The Walk for INDEPENDENCE is a fun day for all! Funds raised make it possible for The Carroll Center for the Blind to transform lives. Join members of the community, local businesses and even family dogs and support our mission. You are helping us continue to serve clients of ALL ages and at ALL stages of vision loss achieve their own independence and learn the skills they need to succeed.

Double your Donation! Make twice the impact with your gift

This weekend, every dollar raised for the walk will be matched!

A generous donor will match the next $5,000.00 raised by walkers and teams for the Walk for INDEPENDENCE! Now is the time to ask your friends, families and colleagues because their donations will have DOUBLE the impact. A gift of $25.00 turns into $50.00, a $100.00 gift doubles into a $200.00 gift, and a $1,000.00 donation quickly becomes $2,000.00.

If you have any questions on how this works, or how to leverage this opportunity to raise more funds, please reach out to our development team. If someone provides you a check or cash, simply email us at with their name and amount and we will ensure the donations are matched.

Thank you for all that you do and for walking with us. You are making an impact on the lives of people of All Ages and All Stages of vision loss.

The Carroll Center for the Blind empowers those who are blind and visually impaired to achieve independence and to lead a fulfilling life.
